RHETT

Savannah, GA

PHOTOGRAPHER: Andrew Thomas Lee

THE MOOD: retro, rich, contrast, greyed undertones, grained overlays, industrial

THE APPROACH: Located in the lowest level of The Alida, a recently renovated hotel in an area of Savannah seldom visited, the emphases on establishing this brand with a layer of familiarity and comfort was critical. While the design was beautiful, the food and the space needed to ensure that no one felt anything but welcome on any occasion or time of day. With this as our goal we sought to reference the age-old photography of past diners and restaurants that brought up memories of time with family, dates and reminded guests that all are welcome - however, shirts and shoes are requested.

LOCAL JONES

Denver, CO

PHOTOGRAPHER: Jimena Peck

THE MOOD: playful, the place not to miss, vibrant, inviting

THE APPROACH: Placed in the heart of Cherry Creek and in an effort to establish itself as an all-day neighborhood restaurant, the light and airiness of these photographs felt pivotal. However, in an effort to exhibit the layers and detail behind the restaurant, its narrative, and offerings we sought to layer in a haze of texture to elaborate on the depth of the experience. The guest at this concept is very clear and therefore we wanted to ensure the space felt approachable for all times of day.

FRANNIE & THE FOX

Charleston, SC

PHOTOGRAPHER: Lindsey Shorter Harris

THE MOOD: playful, the place not to miss, vibrant, inviting

THE APPROACH: Working for Makeready, we sought to creatively overcome the fact that the restaurant has no street presence and is tucked away in the lobby of a new hotel by playfully showing guests the vibrancy of the space and the playfulness of the concept that should not be missed. Humor, vibrant coloring, and awkward-portraits were some of the tools and inspiration.

EL FELIX

Atlanta, GA

PHOTOGRAPHER: Andrew Thomas Lee

THE MOOD: retro, rich, contrast, greyed undertones, grained overlays, industrial

THE APPROACH: Working with Ford Fry Restaurants, the goal was to take the nostalgia carried through in the incredible design of this space along with the restaurants subtle cat mascot inspired this photoshoot. The restaurant is located by the Braves Stadium and evokes the perfect setting for fun, family and foolishness - we couldn't settle for anything short of that with the photography. Through successful brand photography, expectations can be set from the first photo and then driven home upon guest arrival.
